So here’s a good beginning—in Chinese Astronomy 2018 is the ‘Year of the Dog’. (HA—Like it isn’t always ‘year-of-the-dog’ in my household every year anyway . . . )
I have never been one for making New Year resolutions but in the spirit of a brand new doggie-year I found a few listed below that really seem to work for my girls, so I think I am going to give some of them a try. (I especially like points 1, 4 ,7 and 8 . . . )
Perhaps if you haven’t already made your own list you might like to share some of ours . . .
A very Happy New Year to you all!!

Happy New Year Sal. I like the doggie advise. I plan to be guided by sensible dog behaviour- just watch the world go by for a bit, then tear off to do something fun, then collapse in a heap in readiness for a great meal. Jon xx

Ha ha good one Sal 🙂
Yes, return to work and “normal” life schedule will definitely make things interesting !!
Happy New Year from Pammie and me, good to hear you are doing some serious relaxing.
You are no doubt far more rested than us, the 4 year old doesn’t really understand “sleep in” 😦
Cheers

I LOVE THIS! I’m going to try most of these, although I will attempt to control bodily habits in public. 🤣
I’m late to wish you the full panoply of warm holiday wishes as I’ve been traveling or preparing for it most of the month. I hope you and the girls have enjoyed some down time!
All the best and Happy New Year from Fergus and me 🍾🎉🐶😚

Hello again-and thank you for all your well wishes. The girls and I are in full relaxation mode (napping a lot) and intend to continue to do so for another couple of weeks at least. I have just seen the news about the big freeze over parts of the USA – hope you and Fergus are keeping warm and safe. A very happy new year to you both. (Oh, and I agree with the bodily habits thing.) 😉

We live in a deep freeze, currently, but — so far — no snow. I probably just jinxed it. Snuggle in and enjoy those puppy naps!
